The Bell Bearing Hunter appears in four distinct regions, always targeting isolated merchant huts after nightfall. Your first encounter typically happens at the Warmaster Shack in Limgrave, where the boss serves as an early-game reality check. Moving forward, you can challenge him at the Church of Vows in Liurnia and the Hermit Merchant Shack located within the outer walls of the Altus Plateau.

The final and most difficult version spawns at the Isolated Merchant Shack in the hazardous Dragonbarrow district of northern Caelid. This specific variant features vastly inflated health pools and damage outputs compared to the previous iterations. Defeating this final form requires a high-level character and an incredibly optimized combat strategy.

How to Force the Boss to Spawn

Many players mistake a lack of appearance for a glitch when the hunter fails to show up at night. To ensure a successful spawn, you must first rest at the nearby Site of Grace and manually advance the time to night.
